August 3: Festival of Houses and Gardens – Hosted by the Historic Charleston Foundation, this annual tour of homes and gardens in our beautiful city is running through August 17th.

August 4: Sweet Tea Trail Tour – If you love sweet tea, this is the event for you! Tour the birthplace of sweet tea and visit historic homes in Summerville in Hutchinson Square!

August 5: Trivia Night Visit the Mellow Mushroom in West Ashley for delicious food and an entertaining trivia game to win prizes and drink from a selection of local craft beers.

August 6: Illusions the Drag Queen Show – For a fun, adventurous night out, enjoy drinks and entertainment at Charleston’s drag queen show!

August 22: Columbia Fireflies vs. Charleston RiverDogs Baseball Game – Watch a fun game of baseball as you enjoy good food and drinks. If you have kids, stick around until the game ends when kids can run the bases!

August 28: Holy City Farmers Market – At one of Charleston’s finest distilleries, the Firefly Distillery, featuring Holy City Brewing, visit this pop-up farmers market with local produce, vendors, food trucks, and great live music.

August 29: South Carolina Reggae Jerk Wine Festival – This annual celebration is complete with Jamaican food, live reggae music, arts and crafts, contests, and so much more. Enjoy this event at the beautiful Brittlebank Park.

August 31: Tuesday Night Wine Tasting – Visit Accent on Wine Whitehall to sip on 4 different, unique wines with delicious charcuterie and possibly discover your new favorite bottle!
